Alternate interior angles are two angles that are formed by two lines and a transversal and lie between the two lines and on opposite lines of the transversal. The object shown is a railroad that undergoes two bridges. The alternate interior angles highlighted are not congruent angles because the bridges are not parallel. Bridges are used for the transportation of goods over bodies of water and as a path across a body of water. Bridges are used by people as an easier route for transportation over a body of water. Bridges are part of the metal fabrication industry. A bridge is built out of a metal structure produced by metal fabrication industries.

The two highlighted lines represent two lines that are not parallel that will not intersect because the line between the piano keys is above the line going perpendicular to the line between the piano keys.Because lines are only two dimensional, they do not have any depth. If a two dimensional line is above another line, they will not intersect.  Pianos have been named as a piece of household furniture.They are used by pianists of all ages.

Supplementary angles are two angles whose measures have a sum of 180 degrees. The object shown is a radio tower. The cross bracing on the radio tower represent angles. One angle highlighted is an obtuse angle, while the other is an acute angle.Though that they do not form a linear pair, they are still supplementary angles because their angle measures add up to 180 degrees. A radio tower is part of the broadcasting industry and it is used by the broadcasting industry to send out radio signals to radios in a certain radius.

Adjacent angles are two angles that share vertex and side, but have no common interior points.The object shown is a structural support piece. The angles shown are adjacent non-supplementary angles because the two angles share a common side and vertex, but do not add up to 180 degrees. Structural support pieces are used by construction workers to build the structures of buildings. This structural support piece is built in by the metal fabricator to provide additional stiffness to the support.

Football players use these in the real world. Examples of how the yard lines are used is that they measure the distance that the football travels on downs and also mark how far the player is from the end zone.
