Line perpendicular to a plane

Line Perpendicular to a plane

A line perpendicular to a plane is a line that intersects the plane in a point and is perpendicular to every line in the plane that intersects that point. The object in this image is a table with an umbrella. The umbrella's pole represents the perpendicular line that is going through the table, which represents the plane. The table and umbrella are used by people to eat outside without the sun getting in the way.

I took this photo.
