Adjacent Non-Supplementary Angles

Adjacent Non-Supplementary Angles

Adjacent angles are two angles that share vertex and side, but have no common interior points. The object shown is a structural support piece. The angles shown are adjacent non-supplementary angles because the two angles share a common side and vertex, but do not add up to 180 degrees. Structural support pieces are used by construction workers to build the structures of buildings. This structural support piece is built in by the metal fabricator to provide additional stiffness to the support.
