Skew Lines

Skew Lines

Skew lines are lines that do not intersect and are not coplanar. The object shown is a piano. The two highlighted lines represent two lines that are not parallel that will not intersect because the line between the piano keys is above the line going perpendicular to the line between the piano keys.Because lines are only two dimensional, they do not have any depth. If a two dimensional line is above another line, they will not intersect.  Pianos have been named as a piece of household furniture. They are used by pianists of all ages.
